Paulina Silva Hauyon
Utiliza la pintura y el dibujo desde su lado más instintivo, para recrear con el uso del negro y el color paisajes interiores que atraviesan la memoria. Sostiene que la pintura tiene una forma de vitalidad enigmática en donde no todo debe ser traído a la luz. Es licenciada en Artes Visuales por la Universidad Finis Terrae de Santiago de Chile y Máster en Investigación en Arte y Creación por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Entre sus exposiciones individuales destacan Entre la oscuridad, el espíritu (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Querétaro, 2024). Ha activado el proyecto de vinculación comunitaria Último día del verano en el MAM (México, 2024)
She uses painting and drawing from their most instinctive facet to recreate, through the use of black and color, inner landscapes that traverse memory. She asserts that painting holds an enigmatic vitality where not everything needs to be brought to light. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from Finis Terrae University and a Master’s in Art Research and Creation from the Complutense University in Madrid. Her solo exhibitions include Between Darkness, the Spirit (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Queretaro, 2024). She has activated the community engagement project Last Day of Summer at the Modern Art Museum (Mexico, 2024)
