Valerio Gámez
Valerio Gámez investiga, desde el arte, las intercomunicaciones de la espiritualidad, la sexualidad y el consumo de sustancias. Sobre su educación, posee estudios de artes visuales por la Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda”. En 2003 el Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes le otorgó una beca para realizar estudios en artes aplicadas en la Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts, en París, Francia. Ha montado más de 20 exposiciones individuales y ha participado en más de 40 muestras colectivas en México y en el extranjero. Su obra forma parte de colecciones de arte, entre las que destaca la Colección Carlos Monsiváis. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte.
Valerio Gámez investigates, from the art, the intercommunications of spirituality, sexuality and substance consumption of substances. About his education, he has studies in visual arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda”. In 2003, the National Fund for Culture and the Arts awarded him a scholarship to study arts at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts in Paris, France. Has mounted more than 20 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 40 group shows in Mexico and abroad. His work is part of art collections, among which the Carlos Monsiváis Collection stands out. He is a member of the National System of Art Creators.
