Tania Bello
Artista plástica egresada de la Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda”. Desde el 2011 ha participado en diversas exposiciones colectivas y en tres muestras individuales. Ha sido becaria del Sistema de Apoyos a la Creación y Proyectos culturales (antes FONCA) durante 2023 en la categoría de Escultura con el proyecto “Habitamos Estructuras” Trabaja con distintos recursos técnicos para explorar la dimensión simbólica del espacio haciendo visible el vínculo entre pensamiento, lenguaje y sensación. Le interesa abordar la relación entre la realidad interna y la estructura cultural donde se articula la experiencia humana. Actualmente vive y desarrolla su obra desde Oaxaca, México, donde dirige el “Taller de Tierra” dedicado a la exploración escultórica con arcillas y materiales locales.
A visual artist who graduated from the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving "La Esmeralda," she has participated in various group exhibitions since 2011, along with three solo shows. She was a grantee of the Support System for Creation and Cultural Projects (formerly FONCA) in 2023 in the Sculpture category with the project Habitamos Estructuras. She works with different technical resources to explore the symbolic dimension of space, making visible the connection between thought, language, and sensation. She is interested in addressing the relationship between internal reality and the cultural structure where human experience is articulated. Currently, she lives and develops her work in Oaxaca, Mexico, where she directs the Taller de Tierra, dedicated to sculptural exploration with clays and local materials.
