Dulce Chacón
Artista visual cuyo trabajo reflexiona sobre la documentación visual de eventos históricos y la memoria comunitaria, explorando la interacción entre lo natural y lo simbólico. Ha expuesto en Museo de Geología, CDMX (2023); 14ª Bienal de La Habana, Cuba (2021); Manila Biennale, Filipinas (2018) y MATRIX 175, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, EUA (2016). Fue becaria del Programa Bancomer MACG (2012-2014) y CONAHCYT (2022-24). Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte.
Dulce Chacón (CDMX, 1976) is a visual artist. Her work reflects on the visual documentation of historical events and community memory, exploring the interaction between the natural and the symbolic. She has exhibited at the Museo de Geología, CDMX (2023); 14th Havana Biennial, Cuba (2021); Manila Biennale, Philippines (2018), and MATRIX 175, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, USA (2016). She received grants from Programa Bancomer MACG (212-2014) and CONAHCYT (2022-24) and is a member of Mexico’s National System of Art Creators.
