Marilá Dardot
Marilá Dardot trabaja con diversos medios y su mirada atraviesa, entre otros puntos, la memoria constituida por la cultura a partir de la literatura y el lenguaje, temas borrados de la historia por posiciones políticas, la censura, el género o la época. Ha participado en varias exposiciones individuales, colectivas y bienales siendo las más recientes la XVI Bienal de Cuenca (2023) y 13ª Bienal do Mercosul (2022). Su obra forma parte de numerosas colecciones de arte institucionales y privadas, como Inhotim (Brasil), Seattle Art Museum (EU), Fundación Otazu (España) y Fenix (Países Bajos).
Marilá Dardot works with various media, and her gaze traverses, among other points, the memory constituted by culture through literature and language, themes erased from history by political positions, censorship, gender or time. She has participated in several solo, group and biennial exhibitions, the most recent being the XVI Bienal de Cuenca (2023) and the 13th Bienal do Mercosul (2022). Her work is in numerous institutional and private art collections, such as Inhotim (Brazil), Seattle Art Museum (USA), Otazu Foundation (Spain) and Fenix (Netherlands).
